Neil also DJ'd my 20 yr high school reunion and was awesome! Our
wedding was fantastic and the music was perfect! Neil was very
flexible...for example, after about 2 minutes of dancing to OUR song,
we decided we were good and could cut the song off. Afterall,
guests don't wanna sit there and watch you two stare into each other's
eyes in the center of the room for 4 minutes. We told Neil to cut the
song, fade out or do whatever he does and he did. And our guests loved
it! Thought it was hysterical that we cut OUR song after 2 minutes.
Then it was on with the dancing! He used our list and then threw in his
choices to keep the night flowing. He's worth every penny! And his
sound system is quality!

Simply stated Neil (aka Dandy DJ) was exactly what we were looking for
in a DJ for our wedding reception. Two things that are a must for a
great wedding reception (besides free drinks) are great food and great
music. Neil of Dandy DJ even upstaged our great food. He had the
professionalism and energy of a confident MC without bringing attention
to himself and his DJ skills were on the money. He played our chosen
songs and read the crowd in order to play other hit dance songs keeping
our guests on the dance floor, which is hard to do as my family really
doesn't like to dance.
We called 10-15 DJ's and spoke to many DJ types from 24 year old DJs
that charged only $200 (not recommended) to DJ broker's charging $1,800
for DJ's that spin at the clubs (way overpriced and wrong for a wedding
reception vibe). Neil is the man and his price is perfectly reasonable.
You will not be disappointed especially if you provide him a specific
play list (or at least artists, or genres. He saved us in the end as we
ran out of time to give him all the songs we wanted, but by telling him
our desired artists and genres of music Neil knew exactly what to
play.
Some of my worries were a DJ that was too talkative, showy, or one that
ignored guest song requests. With Dandy DJ you do not need to worry
about any of that as Neil is none of those things. As his website /
video show, he is quite the chameleon and I would bet he can fit the

I hired Neil to DJ my Mom's 60th birthday 60's party. His
rate was very reasonable, and he was very attentive beforehand to make

you!). He even dressed up in costume to go along with the

Neil was referred to us by a coworker and friend, as he had provided
his services at their wedding a few months prior to ours. Neil was our
DJ at our wedding on 5/20/11. He was able to accommodate all of our
requests and even customize a few of the entrance songs to start at
specific times.
Our venue had two separate set up areas for the DJ and everything
seemed to transfer over flawlessly. Professional appearance,
professional attitude, and top of the line equipment.
We have had nothing but great compliments on what a classy event this
was. We wanted to thank Neil for being a huge part of it, as his
services were excellent. We will definitely use him again in the future
and recommend his services to our friends.
As the owner of a fine dining restaurant, we had twice before hired
DJ's for our late night crowd. Each time it was a disaster because they
would not follow our direction on the type of music that was favored by
our crowd - 30's to 50's. As a result I have many complaints and people

was just the opposite. Professionalism personified. He read the room,
played a great mix and kept my guests on the dance floor and tapping
their toes all night long. Even when one of the younger patrons asked
for a song that was not our type of music, he cooly handled the
situation and did not play the song. I would recommend him at any time.

for and had great songs as well. He came early to set up.......is very

This was my first experience hiring a DJ so I was a little apprehensive
and did a lot of research. After talking with Neil on the phone
my confidence increased so I went ahead and hired him.
To
make a long story short, Neil
was on time and performed exactly as expected. He proceeded to rock the party with my
own playlist and also took requests. Everyone enjoyed the music
and had a great time. I will hire Neil again.
Neil
is very professional. He delivers on what he says he's going to do and
more. I recommend him highly for anyone looking for a good wedding DJ.
He amplified our wedding ceremony, which included several microphones
and a boom stand for a string trio, plus provided music for the
reception afterward. He arrived several hours early to ensure
everything would go smoothly - and when our wedding coordinator had to
leave for a personal emergency, he stepped up and helped us keep things
running by making the announcements we needed according to the schedule
we had set up.
Overall, Neil was always helpful, he never said no to a request we gave
him, and he played the music we wanted. You couldn't ask for more of a
wedding DJ.

(Dandy DJ) performed at our church during our wedding ceremony playing
Ave Maria and Tom Petty's 'American Girl.' Though both completely
different, he learned to master them both by acoustic guitar, and
even played the guitar lightly when needed before, and during the
ceremony for the guests and I. Everything went perfectly!
In addition to our ceremony, Neil was able to switch gears and play
fun, lively music for our cocktail hour and dinner, and upbeat music
for our dance floor taking many requests all night. He made
announcements to help with transitions between events too!
My husband and I highly recommend him if you want a professional DJ who
is prompt, well prepared, self sufficient, reliable, and most of all
knows how get people to liven up and dance!"

DJ provided DJ services and did a great job of setting the tone for the
evening. From getting everyone in the mood with classic
romantic
standards as they arrived at the reception, to the impeccable Emceeing
of the evening, and last (but not least) bringing us to the dance floor
with an awesome collection of party music -- we had a great time and
danced the night away!
We
were at a mixer and the dj was Dandy DJ. The music that was
played was so nice, relaxing, and fun. The music played was from
all different era's from the 1970's to current music. Many of us
sang along, while others could still have conversations as the music
was loud enough but not too loud to have conversations that could be
heard. It made for an enjoyable, fun evening even more enjoyable
