This
special wedding ceremony and reception was held in the TEE ROOM Banquet
Room and Lounge in Newport Beach. The room was decorated beautifully
and I provided wireless microphones for the officiant as well as the
bride and groom for the ceremony as well as their specially chosen
ceremony music.
After the ceremony, I made the announcements along with their chosen
music for their Grand Entrance and then they had their first dance
before the dinner.
Dinner was served banquet-style and I dismissed tables two at a time to
the buffet to keep the line manageable.
After dinner, I provided wireless microphones for the couple's speeches
and toasts, then the dance floor was opened and I played dance
favorites which the bride and groom had requested in advance and also
played many requests from the guests who all had a great time.
I did have to get a bit creative with my setup since the room was
angled in such a way to the dancefloor that I was unable to have an
actual table to DJ from and instead was required by the venue to set up
on a countertop faced away from the room. I did meet this challenge by
making sure to constantly be looking over my shoulder to check the mood
of the dance floor and I of course turned around for making
announcements.
It was a lovely celebration and I am so happy I was able to be a part
of it.
