This
was the holiday party for the UCLA Cath Lab, and well deserved it was!
These people save lives on a daily basis so it was a great honor to be
able to entertain them for the evening. They wanted jazzy swing music
for the dinner portion and then karaoke for the rest of the evening.
The room was very small. So small that I had to go with only one
karaoke screen and only one speaker, all of which had to go on my
actual DJ table because there was simply no other room to setup. I
guarantee my clients that I will work in whatever space they give me no
matter what it takes and I made it work, even though I had to crawl on
the floor under my DJ table in order to get behind it and run the music
and karaoke. My job is always an adventure, but it is also always fun
and the Cath Lab had some AMAZING singers who couldn't wait to show off
their skills, and show them off they did!
