This was a Mitzvah with a very unique
theme (for a 13 year old that is). The place was the penthouse of the
Petersen Automotive Museum and the theme was Rat Pack and classic Vegas
nightclub. The kids all wore fedoras and chomped on chocolate cigars
while I played classic big band music before introducing Brandon the
Bar Mitzvah King strolled in with none other than MARILYN MONROE (ok,
it was an impersonator, but a really good one). Brandon sang with
Marilyn and also a Dean Martin impersonator who performed a bit later
(and I ran sound for him) and then we migrated into modern dance music
and partied out through the end! This was not a typical Mitzvah, but it
sure was fun!
